Stop Disqualifying Yourself

Stop Disqualifying Yourself

Are you constantly playing over and over in your mind or even worst stating things like:

I am not worthy.

I am not good enough.

I am never going to accomplish that.

I am not beautiful.

I am never going to amount to anything.

I am poor and will always be that way.

I am never going to get married.

I am never going to have a business of my own.

I am never going to own a home.

I am never going to have children.

I am never going to own a brand-new car.

I am never going to accomplish my dream.

I am never going to go on a mission trip.

Wow! I don’t know about you, but I am already exhausted from all the negativity. Do you realize that those two words I Am are the most powerful words to ever be spoken? The words that you speak chart the course of your life. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” – Proverbs 18:21. http://www.miraclebook.net

Yes, there will be challenging seasons, but you don’t need to add to them by disqualifying yourself believing that you can never do great things in life. Face your fears and come out of your comfort zone and charge forward.

Start saying what God says about you:

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. – Psalm 139:14

God says that you are the apple of his eye. – Deuteronomy 32:10

You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you. – Philippians 4:13

You are healed. – 1 Peter 2:24

You are not fearful. – Timothy 1:7

You are not abandoned. – Hebrews 13:5

You can have an abundant life. – John 10:10

You are chosen. – 1 Thessalonians 1:4

You are more than a conqueror. – Romans 8:37

You are victorious. – 1 Corinthians 15:57

You are beautiful. – Song of Solomon 4:7

You are blessed. – Psalm 84:4

You are God’s masterpiece. – Ephesians 2:10

Now that you have these reference points from the Bible stop disqualifying yourself and get out in life and enjoy the journey because God’s got your back and go fulfill the purpose, he has for you and live your dreams. http://www.miraclebook.net

Victory Is Closer Than You Think

Victory Is Closer Than You Think

Unfortunately, a lot of people believe that if something is not quick and easy then they will pass on it and find the next thing. We live in a society that wants everything lightning fast and overnight victories. Well, I hate to burst your bubble but that is not the way things happen 99% of the time. Joel Osteen says, “we all live in a microwave society, but we serve a crock pot God.” Steve Harvey says, “There is no elevator to the top, you’ve got to take the stairs in the world of success.”

There is one set of people who know this very well and they are fishermen. They recognize that the art of fishing has no time boundaries. You can cast your line and catch a fish quickly or you can be there for several hours, possibly days if you go out several days in a row. They realize that ultimately victory will come but there is no timetable. http://www.miraclebook.net

Too many people give up on things too quickly when victory is closer than they think. If you are looking for success it is a disciplined, consistent, made-up mind that you must have. You cannot just give up and run away from everything that does not materialize at warp speed. You must be prepared to dig your heels in, snap on your seat belt and enjoy the journey. Victory Is Closer Than You Think.

Sight is a beautiful thing, but it can sometimes warp the way you think. If you don’t see your destination directly ahead of you then you decide to go a different route or worse, you become complacent and do nothing at all and accept that this is your plight in life. http://www.miraclebook.net

When you are watching, for instance, a football game you can clearly see when the team is on the one-yard line, and they are close to a touchdown. Where God is concerned it is not sight but faith that you must have and trust in God that he will bring you to the abundant life he has for you in his appointed time. Victory Is Closer Than You Think.

We all must acquired patience in life just like the fishermen have because most things in life we have to wait for: the birth of a baby, to board a plane and have it take off, to get a degree from school, a car to come out of a car wash, a promotion from work, a business to finally be in the green and out of the red which normally is at least five years in the making etc. There are a host of other things that I can list but you get my gist.

Don’t be so quick to give up because victory is closer than you think.

We all have seasons that we go through as we live this journey that is called life. We all are most joyful when we are in a harvest season. That means everything is going our way and coming up like roses. There are no struggles or challenges that come up and whatever our hands touch prospers. Check out my website

However, we all realize that there is also a winter season and that does not bring pleasant things. Winter seasons are harsh and grueling. Everything we try to do backfires and blows up in our face. Every time you look around all you seem to be doing is putting out fires. For every step you take forward you are being pulled back five. Why is this happening? This is when things don’t make sense.

You worked very hard for that promotion, yet you were passed over by someone who doesn’t have anywhere near the qualifications you do. Your offering bid for that dream home you want was declined and someone who didn’t offer as much was approved. You have changed the way you eat, and you are eating healthier and exercising yet when you take your A1C test your blood sugar levels are still through the roof. You are in the choir in your church, you are one of the teachers for the Sunday’s school classes in church, you are also an usher but when it is time to be selected as a board member in the church you are passed over. You have been praying for years to have a baby and for God to open your barren womb. Finally, the pregnancy test is positive, and you carry your baby almost full term only to have a miscarriage.  Your spouse and you are godly people and attend church regularly but while at work you get a phone call from the police that says your spouse has just committed suicide. What is happening? My spouse never showed signs of having mental health issues. Where is God? Christian Books – Donna Louis – When Things Don’t Make Sense

When things don’t make sense don’t panic God is still in control. To the natural man it does not appear that way. God however is supernatural he knows things we don’t. When God designed you, he knew every disappointment, every hurt, you would encounter. Sometimes we go through arduous winter seasons because God is trying to improve us. There are things inside of us that he needs to remove and grow us up and those things don’t happen when we are in a harvest season, and everything is going great. You’re wondering why that dream of yours is taking so long. Well maybe what you are dreaming for is much smaller than what God has in mind for you and so it’s taking longer. The longer what you desire takes to manifest that is because it is going to be so much greater than what you expected. If you are dealing with some very tragic and dramatic events in your life that is because God knows you will have some rougher waters ahead of you in your future and so he needs to start preparing you now. You are stronger than you think. Remember you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. Check out my website

When things don’t make sense don’t abandon all the good things you have been doing. Keep being good to people, keep tithing in church, keep going to church, continue to be a person of integrity, and above all continue to thank God and have gratitude because when God provides you with your breakthrough it will be so dynamic and monumental you will say look at what the Lord has done. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Lean On

“And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed”. – Geneses 2:21-25. Check out my website

And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of everything that creepeth upon the earth, there went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. – Genesis 7;6-9. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Lean On

There is something that stands out in the previous two passages. Do you knw what it is? God clearly wants us to have companionship and lean on each other. That was his reasoning for creating Eve so Adam would not be alone. That was his reason for commanding Noah to put two of every animal in the ark. God even says that in his word, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” – Matthew 18:20. Check out my website

Husbands and wives are to lean on each other. Children are to lean on their parents for wisdom and understanding until they are adults themselves. Our pets lean on us as they depend on us to care for them on a daily basis. Parents sometimes when they reach their golden years look to lean on their children for some assistance. God designed us to be a support system for each other and to lean on each other. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Lean On

Unfortunately, nowadays with all the stress, strife, chaos, and confusion in the world there are a lot of people having mental health issues especially since Covid entered our lives. There are so many clinics and places where you can go to get assistance and just to communicate with others. Communication is a major essence of life. Homeland Security launched a campaign that is titled, “If you see something say something.” In July 2010, DHS launched the campaign in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative (NSI), with the goal of training state and local law enforcement to recognize behaviors and indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime. – https://www.dhs.gov/see-something-say-something/about-campaign.

This should not apply to just terrorism; this should apply to everything especially those that are suffering with mental health issues. This is one of the reasons why the suicide rate continues to climb rapidly especially with young people. If you are having any strange thoughts or feeling say something to someone. If you are a parent, friend, co-worker, family member, church buddy, etc. and you see signs in someone that looks to be depression, or anxiety or a host of other things please don’t just look the other way. If you see something, say something. This could save many lives.

Lean On and lift up those around you and God and the angels in heaven will be rejoicing!
