Christian Books – Donna Louis – Integrity

Are you a person of integrity? Do you have a strict code of morality? Every day daily we are presented with integrity choices. Are you willing to lie on a job application so you can get the job? Even though you raise your hand in court and swore to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, do you? You are desperate for a loan? Are you willing to lie to the bank or financial institution instead of trusting God for a beneficial outcome? Your goal in life should be to always reflect integrity. This is something that should be reflected in every aspect of your life. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Integrity. Check out my website

What is the definition of integrity? Integrity means having a firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values. – https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/integrity. One person who had great integrity in the Bible was Joseph Mary’s husband. When Joseph found out that his wife Mary was pregnant, and the news spread that he was not the father he had to have several emotions surrounding him. Embarrassment, anger, disgust, sadness, betrayal, etc. He had several options he could have pursued such as divorcing Mary quietly; he could have had her killed since that was the penalty for adultery according to the law. According to the law in the book of Leviticus in the bible it states: ‘And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. – Leviticus 20:10. However, he chose to have integrity and stay with her especially after the angel spoke to him and advised him that Mary was carrying the baby Jesus. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Integrity

The bible has a lot to say about integrity: “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.” – Proverbs 10:9, “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. – Proverbs 28;6, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.” – Proverbs 11:3.

Living a life of integrity is always the most prudent thing to do. Check out my website

Christian Books – Donna Louis – Trust

Christian Books – Donna Louis – Trust

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6

Where does your trust lie? Is it in mankind or God? Mankind is made up of feelings and emotions which can be very fickle sometimes. The definition of fickle is as follows: : marked by lack of steadfastness, constancy, or stability : given to erratic changeableness. – www. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fickle. So now that you know the definition you are aware that at sometime in your life you have been fickle also. God however is consistent and never changes or is fickle. “For I am the Lord, I change not”. – Malachi 3:6. Since God never changes, we should have our entire trust in him always. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Trust

Why is it so easy for us to trust other things so easily? For example, at amusement parks there is always a big draw for Rollercoasters. The lines to get on the ride are  incredible. Why is it though we climb into the roller coaster giddy, sweaty, pumped with adrenaline and trust that the ride will be awesome! We never have wavering trust that our feet will never land safely on solid ground within 3 1/2 to 4 minutes after the inception of the ride. So, if we are so confident and stable and grounded in our trust in a man-made steel object why is our trust so flimsy in our creator?

The most amazing trust story comes in the book of Genesis regarding Abraham. Sarah and Abraham waited 20 years to have a child. God promised Abraham a son, but he was waiting for 20 years. When Isaac was born Abraham was 100 years old and his wife Sarah was 90 years old. God decided to tempt Abraham one day and see where his trust lied by telling him to kill Isaac. Abraham took Isaac to a mountain that God told him to and sacrifice Isaac there. Abraham tied Isaac down and just as he drew his knife to kill him an angel of the lord advised Abraham to stop. The angel of the lord said to Abraham because you have not withheld your one and only son and was ready to kill him God says he will bless you and make of you a great nation. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Trust

Abraham’s trust did not lie in mankind it was with God. Even though he had to wait 20 years for Isaac he still obeyed God and was willing to sacrifice Isaac. Abraham waited 20 years some of us don’t want to even wait 20 minutes for something let alone destroy the thing we have waited so long for. The bible says, “Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” – Psalm 40:4. Where does your trust lie?

Christian Books – Enjoy The Journey

Christian Books – Enjoy The Journey

Whether you are commuting to church, work, school, a friend’s home, the grocery store, the bank, the gym to work out, the movies, a restaurant for dinner, an amusement park, or going on vacation or host of other things you are on a journey. A journey is an act or instance of traveling from one place to another. Christian Books – Enjoy The Journey. http://www.miraclebook.net

In the same way that we have an earthly journey we have a spiritual journey as well. We are traveling day by day until we are called home to our maker. A spiritual journey just like an earthly journey is made up of choices. However, because God placed us all here with a purpose and have given us all gifts and talents that we are to use to glorify his kingdom if we start to go astray, he will rearrange our choices and implement the correct ones so we will stay on the course he designed for us before he formed us in our mother’s womb. Christian Books – Enjoy The Journey. http://www.miraclebook.net

It is equally important that we enjoy the journey as well as the destination. All of us want to be successful and thrive in life but we must remember that when we plant a seed for flowers, or fruits, or vegetables, or whatever there is a journey that the seed must go through before it becomes all it is meant to be. There will be peaks and valleys, straight roads and curved roads, mountains and flat terrain, in essence joys and sadness, but all of that is necessary so you can become the person you are meant to be just like the seed. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diver’s temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. – James 1:1-8. If you don’t quite understand what that means let me simplify it for you – to everything there is a season, and an appointed time and God is the one who determines that time so don’t get frustrated just enjoy the journey. You will get to where you are meant to be if you don’t give up. So, what should we do while on our journey? I love to work with acronyms so let’s take a look. Christian Books – Enjoy The Journey

J = Joy. Well, we don’t have to go back far because just a few sentences ago in James 1:1 it said to count it all joy when ye fall into diver’s temptations. Trials are just a test that we must pass so God will bless us with what we’re asking for. Just like a small child has a Christmas list for Santa we as adults have an everyday Christmas list for God. We want, and want, and want some more. Well, the same way a parent is not going to give their car to a six-year-old to drive because they know the child is not capable of handling the vehicle is the same way God is not going to give us what we want unless we are prepared to handle what goes along with it. Just because you don’t receive what you are asking for in the time frame that you want it doesn’t mean it won’t happen so keep your joy always.

O = Observant. It is very important that you are observant while on your journey because sometimes tests actually get repeated. There is a story called The Potter’s Wheel – The Teacup by an unknown author who spoke about how this potter who owned an antique shop and a couple came inside to look because they liked antiques and saw this beautiful teacup unlike anything they had ever seen and asked the potter if they could see it. He handed it to them and walked away and they marveled about how beautiful the teacup was. At the exact moment the teacup spoke to them and said it was not always a teacup. The teacup explained how it had been placed by the potter on this wheel being spun back and forth and then how it was placed in this oven to be refined and every time it screamed to get out the potter opened the oven and checked on it and placed it back in saying it wasn’t ready yet. This is how God is with us. However, with the testing we endure we need to make sure that if we failed a test previously because of a lack of patience or something else we must be observant when that test comes back and make the right choice so we will move forward and not have to keep repeating it and going around and around. As a child there was a song kids would sing called “Here we go round the Mulberry Bush.” Several kids would join hands in a circle and skip around a tree or bush and sing as they went around. We must be careful and observant not to repeat our mistakes just like the children of Israel did why it took them 40 years to get to the promise land instead of 11 days.

U = Unique. When something is unique it is distinctively characteristic. This is the way you must see yourself. You are God’s masterpiece and when he created you, he broke the mold. Just like you hear fingerprint experts say that no one has the same set of fingerprints that is true because each one of us is unique in our own way. God designed us that way and so the gifts and talents that he gave to you are specific to you and what he wants you to accomplish in life so don’t compare yourself to others because what you can do easily maybe a huge chore for someone else.

R = Rest. The same way that you hear health experts say you should get at least eight hours of sleep per night so your body can function properly and replenish itself is exactly what God did when he created the earth. He worked six days and then rested on the seventh. We also must rest. Sometimes we keep ourselves so busy that we are spinning out of control. Trust God and allow him to take the reigns of your life and you will see things will run more smoothly. When we allow God to have the lead role and be our pilot things work out better. Since the dawn of time and the creation of the earth God gave us choices and he has always been a gentleman where he will not invoke his power on us. If we insist of being in control, he will allow us to do that and just take a back seat and wait until we are completely worn out and spent and cry out for his help and then he will step back in. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7. Rest and let God do the work.

N = New. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23. The Bible says that we all fall short of the glory of God, but this above verse let’s us know that no matter what his mercy and compassion for us fail not. Each day that God provides the breath of life in your body is a new day to be grateful and go forward asking him to guide and direct your steps. Pray Lord thank you for your favor in everything you do. Every day is a new day with a new opportunity to do better while we are on this journey. For the entire six days that it took God to create the earth everyday he improved and did better. This is what he expects of us and if we will remove the stress and take off the pressure it will allow us to greatly improve with each new day. Each day is a gift, and we need to choose wisely to do better than what we did yesterday. Don’t say it’s too hard because the Bible says you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.

E = Expectant. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jeremiah 29:11. God is clearly telling you here that he is not thinking evil thoughts about you and wants to give you peace and an expected end so if God is thinking and saying that why are you saying the opposite? You must be expecting the best every day. Miracles can happen at any moment but if you are thinking that nothing good ever happens to me that is exactly what will keep happening. The book of Job in the Bible talks about a righteous man who lost everything, but God let him know, “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” – Job 8:7. Don’t think my time has passed it is too late for me to have anything good happen to me always have an expectant attitude.

Y = Yes. Yes – used as a function word to express assent or agreement. Do you know what the most powerful word in the English language is? It is the word YES. A lot of people believe that NO is the most powerful word but that would be wrong. The word NO shows closed-mindedness and fear but, the word YES shows true strength and courage. The word YES signals interest and respect. When you say the word YES you look at what is presented to you and simply look at the problem in front of you in a fresh way. The word YES is a positive affirmation. It reflects in your body language and makes you feel valued. The word YES stretches you, challenges, energizes, creates safety and trust, and fuels creativity. There are many people in the bible that knew the power of the word YES. God used everyday people who said yes to him in the Bible. Noah said yes when God asked him to build an ark. Abraham said yes when God asked him to sacrifice his only son. However, God spared his life. Moses said yes when God told him to ask Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. Mary said yes when the angel asked her to carry Jesus, the only Son of God. The disciples said yes when Jesus asked them to leave everything behind and follow Him. Paul, who once persecuted Christians as Saul, said yes when God asked him to deliver the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. These people were not extraordinary people with great fortitude and toughness. They were normal people who tolerated, wrestled, and wept but still said yes to God and His will. The biggest one of all is Jesus who said YES to being crucified on the cross. What was his reward? He now sits on the throne on the right side of the Father. Try it for yourself say YES to God and see how much smoother your journey will be. Christian Books – Enjoy The Journey.

The Rain Falls On The Just & The Unjust Another Prospective

The Rain Falls On The Just & The Unjust Another Prospective

Lots of people have had to endure some major downpours of rain in the forms of losing a loved one to a Mass Shooting, or Covid-19, or a child to school shootings, or intense hatred from Racism. Then there are also lives that were lost to Political Divisions like the rampage at the U. S. Capitol building, and the loss of life from opioid addiction. The list is endless of bad things that happen to good people. However, we must remember that Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. Two of the greatest spirited motivational speakers Tony Robbins & Les Brown tell us to keep the faith and keep moving forward. After the rain, God will give us all beauty for ashes. Check out my website

As we have read in the bible, but I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. – The Rain Falls On The Just & The Unjust Another Prospective

God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins. God also gave us freedom of choice and some of us choose to live life doing good while others choose to do evil. God is no respecter of persons so all of us will have to endure testing periods in our lives. One of the greatest well-known figures in the bible went through long arduous testing from God. Joseph had to wait 13 years before he lived his dream of being second in command to Pharoah. Joseph endured lots of trials: being thrown in a ditch by his brothers was sold into slavery, was imprisoned because he was wrongfully accused of trying to sleep with Pharoah’s wife, and finally, he interpreted a dream and was released from prison and was promoted to second in command behind Pharoah. – The Rain Falls On The Just & The Unjust Another Prospective

Remember God never gives you more than you can bear, you are stronger than you think. Remember events will happen in life but your reaction to them will determine the outcome as to whether you pass the test and rise or if you fall. You cannot have a testimony if you do not have a test. – The Rain Falls On The Just & The Unjust Another Prospective

Christian Books – Negativity – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Let go of the people who dull your shine, poison your spirit, and bring you drama. Cancel your subscription to their issues. – Steve Maraboli

“Negativity is the enemy of creativity.” — David Lynch

“There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.” — W. Clement Stone

“Fall seven times and stand up eight.” – Japanese Proverb

“When the world pushes you to your knees, you’re in the perfect position to pray.” – Rumi

Daily we truly must maintain control of our minds. What we allow to grow in our minds in the present and fertilize it is what our future will be like. In the same way, we must also watch the words we speak because they will also shape our future. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” – Proverbs 18:21. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” – Proverbs 23:7. Where the man goes the mind follows. – Joyce Meyer. http://www.miraclebook.net

In the same way that a car battery has a negative and positive terminal, we have the choice to live either negatively or positively. We also have the choice to speak negative or positive words and most definitely we have the choice regarding who to keep company and friendships with. Sure, we also have negative family members, but we can also control how much time we spend with them. Choice is something that God gave us from the beginning when he created Adam and Eve. God warned them about the tree of knowledge of good and evil and not to eat of it, but Eve chose to be deceived by the serpent and Adam chose to go along with Eve in eating the fruit from the tree. Christian Books – Negativity – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Every day we are presented with many choices, but it is up to us to choose wisely. That is why it is so critical to pray for wisdom daily. Some things we can stay away from completely. An example of this would be if you are a person who is allergic to shellfish then do not order it when dining out at a restaurant and do not buy it to cook for meals. If you do then you know what is next, you will have to snuggle up with a bottle of Benadryl when you break out in hives. However, there are times when you do not have control over things or persons that are negative. If your co-worker is a negative person then do not sit down and have lunch with them every day. Remember that adage that says couples married for a long time begin to look alike. “Back in 1987, scientists from the University of Michigan set out to study the phenomenon of married couples who grow to look more alike over time. (Their theory, which scientists still cite today, was that decades of shared emotions result in a closer resemblance due to similar wrinkles and expressions.)” – This is a part of an article written by JAMIE DUCHARME back on April 4, 2019, who works for Time.com. Well, the same thing applies to the company you keep. If you continuously hang around a negative person you will pick up their habits. Christian Books – Negativity – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Life is short and every moment counts. You do not have time to surround yourself around negativity. You need to look at the glass as half full and not half empty. Curtail negative words such as:  Cannot, Do not, Impossible, Unable. Instead replace them with words like:  Can, Attainable, Possible, Confident, Empowered. Remember in the bible it says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” – Philippians 4:13. Christian Books – Negativity – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

It is also necessary that we do not hold onto negative things that people have done to us and hurt us and keep replaying them in our minds. You are only hurting yourself. Trust me I know firsthand. You must pray and ask God to help you to be a bigger and better person. Wrapping yourself up in negativity like the blanket that Linus carried around with him from the Charlie Brown cartoon will only detract from a life of thriving. http://www.miraclebook.net

Christian Books – Faith – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God – Faith

Faith – belief and trust in and loyalty to God, belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion, something that is believed especially with strong conviction, complete trust.

Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. – Voltaire

Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase. – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. – Corrie ten Boom

We all were created in the image of God and he had faith in his creation of Adam and Eve when he placed them in the Garden of Eden. They disobeyed God but he continued to create even more of us. Even when he destroyed the earth by floodwaters, he spared Noah’s family and two of every kind of animal and when the floodwaters abated, he stated for us all to multiply and replenish the earth. Now you realize that if this had happened to most if not all of us, we would have been so distraught and disappointed in what we created we would have come up with another idea and never created human beings again. Gratefully we are not God and he continued to have faith in us and desired so much to have a relationship with us that he tried again and again. He continues to do that daily because his mercy for us is unending. God is still expecting all of us to become the image of his son Jesus. Christian Books – Faith – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God.  http://www.miraclebook.net

We all need to strive to have an abundance of faith. We need to not just give up so easily and run to what we believe is the next best thing. Sure, we can do this if we have a change of heart regarding a food choice but that is not the same as the church, work, marriage, etc. Some of us are just too quick to change our church because we do not like or agree with the pastor anymore or a member of the church has hurt us in some way. Some people change jobs like you would change underwear. There is no stability anymore. I have the pleasure of knowing a banker who has worked for the same bank for 31 years. Remarkable! That is unheard of nowadays. Marriages nowadays are like going to an ice cream parlor and choosing several different flavors and then adding toppings. Christian Books – Faith – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God.

God is faithful and we should be the same in our daily lives. If God places a thought or idea in our minds, we should have faith to believe that he will see it through. The bible says, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. – Jeremiah 29:11.

The bible has so much to say about faith. Look at these verses:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

“But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

There are numerous stories of people in the bible that had faith, but this is one example of a woman who had great faith. “And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace and be whole of thy plague. – Mark 5:25-34. Now the first thing that makes this passage in the bible so outstanding is that this woman was dealing with this health issue for twelve years. Most of us would have given up and had no faith or hope anymore. She spent all the money she had and to no avail. However, she pressed on in faith believing that if she could touch Jesus, she would be made whole. Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God – Faith

Great faith is the product of great fights. Great testimonies are the outcome of great tests. Great triumphs can only come out of great trials. – Smith Wigglesworth

Do you have any faith? If you do how strong is it? Miracles happen for those who have faith and believe. Christian Books – Faith – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God.

Thriving – It’s Never Too Late

Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God – It’s Never Too Late

The time for action is now. It is never too late to do something. – Antoine de Saint – Exupery

It is never too late to be what you might have been. – George Eliot

It is never too late to give up what you are doing and start doing what you realize you love. – Hans Rosling

Time marches on daily. Every day has 86,400 seconds. How many of them are you using to advance your future? The past is the past, and it will never return however the future is right in front of you. Are you looking at your life on a 32-inch TV screen when you can be shaping it with what you really love on an 85-inch TV or even bigger? Do not keep looking behind you like the rearview mirror in your car does. It is never too late to see your life in the front windshield window of your car or if you are bold and daring to see it as the size of a movie screen in the theatres. Thriving – It’s Never Too Late. http://www,miraclebook.net

There are countless people whose lives and futures did not spark at puberty or adolescence. They did not give up and settle. They realized that it is never too late and continued to persevere until they began to thrive in life.

Henry Ford – Had several failures, but he did not let them deter him. In 1899, at the age of 36 years old, Ford formed his first company, the Detroit Automobile Company, that company went bankrupt. His second attempt was in 1901 when he formed the Henry Ford Company, which he ended up leaving with the rights to his name. That company was later renamed the Cadillac Automobile Company. However, it was Ford’s third try, with the Ford Motor Company, that success bloomed. He was 40 years old when he started the Ford Motor Company. www.wikipedia.com

Samuel Jackson –  Was a social worker before he began his acting career. He had small roles in the films Goodfellas and True Romance. However, he finally became a star when he appeared in Pulp Fiction when he was 45 years old.

Colonel Sanders – Worked many jobs including fireman, tire salesman, insurance salesman, and of course, a cook. In 1952 he hit the road and began trying to sell his franchise-model chicken restaurant. He traveled across the U.S. looking for someone to sell his fried chicken, and after finally getting a business deal in Utah, Kentucky Fried Chicken was born. He was 62 when KFC was established. KFC is now one of the most recognizable franchises in the world. The company grew and expanded faster than he could have ever imagined. In 1964, at the age of 74 years old, Sanders sold the company for $2 million dollars to a group of investors. www.wikipedia.com

Jeremy Renner – Worked as a part-time make-up artist to survive. Finally, at the age of 38, he starred in “The Hurt Locker” and his acting career began. He has since starred in blockbuster films such as The Avengers, Jason Bourne Legacy, and Mission Impossible.

J.K. Rowling – Rowling is one of the most inspirational success stories of our time. Many people simply know her as the woman who created Harry Potter. But what most people do not know is what she went through prior to reaching stardom. Rowling saw herself as a failure at this time. She was jobless, divorced, penniless, and a dependent child. She suffered through bouts of depression, eventually signing up for government-assisted welfare. J.K. Rowling was a single mom living off welfare when she began writing the first “Harry Potter” novel. The first Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was published in June 1997 and J K Rowling was 32 years old. Rowling is now internationally renowned for her Harry Potter series and, in US currency, became the first billionaire author. Motivation Leads To Success – Facebook.

Steve Harvey – He had a passion to be on TV since he was 10 years old. Through many trials and tribulations that passion and purpose never became a reality until he was 38 years old. He is now one of the most successful comedians ever.

If these people could do it late in life, then so can you. It truly is never too late. The bible says. “God is no respecter of persons.” Thriving – It’s Never Too Late.

Thriving – Your Appointed Time

Thriving – Your Appointed Time

We live in an extremely fast-paced world where everything needs to come to us instantly. Banks have drive-thru lanes, so people do not have to go inside the bank and wait in line. However, sometimes you must wait in line in the drive thru even if there are two or more lanes. Almost every restaurant has drive-thru lanes as well so we can get the food fast and in the comfort of our vehicles. Surprisingly, there are some places that do not believe in instant gratification like Italy. About six years ago my husband and I traveled to Italy for our thirtieth wedding anniversary and were shocked and surprised to know that they do not have microwaves in Italy. The Italians believe in fresh food that is tasty and using a microwave to quickly heat up dinner is not for them. Thriving – Your Appointed Time. http://www.miraclebook.net

Therefore, we have such a difficult time waiting for our appointed time for our breakthrough. God does not work on the same thought process as we do, and this keeps us frustrated. A thousand years for God is like one day. God created all of us with a specific purpose in life we are to execute. According to what that purpose is that will determine our growth time and our refining period. God will not elevate us until we are ready to handle the tremendous future, he has in store for us, so we do not crash and burn because we were not ready. The bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28. Jesus said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10. Thriving – Your Appointed Time.

We have all heard the phrase “patience is a virtue” and it really is. For those of us that are a type A personality like me, this can be a real struggle sometimes. However, God has a sense of humor because every time he tries to promote us, he gives us a test and if we fail, he will just continue to retest us until we pass. This is what the children of Israel had to go through when they were released from Egypt and kept failing the test which is why they spent 40 years in the wilderness for a trip that should have only taken 11 days.

Be patient and wait for your appointed time because what God has for you in your future will astound you because it is much bigger and better than what you had in mind.

Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God – Vision

Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God – Vision

Where there is no vision, the people perish. Do you have a vision for your life? Can you visualize what you want to accomplish in the next 5 years, 10 years, or more? If you are having a difficult time thinking that far into the future, then think 30 days ahead. Your vision assists in defining your goals. Your vision becomes your why in life. When you have a vision, it stimulates you into action. When you think and approach your vision the most vital things are to direct your mind regarding what you really want not what is your ability or capacity. Some examples of visions people have are to own their own home, have a brand new car, own their own business, be healthy, get married, travel the world, have a successful career in the field they are most passionate about, be debt-free, and many others. One of the ways to start moving these visions into reality is to have a vision board. All successful people tell you this is a must to go from living a life of just surviving to a life of thriving. A vision board consists of pictures and texts of the goals you what to accomplish in life. If you are just aimlessly going through life you will never succeed. In the bible, in the book of Habakkuk it reads, “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” – Habakkuk 2:2. So how do you start in designing your vision board you write down your goals of the things you wish to achieve. Cut out the photos and texts of your goals and pin them on a board that you keep in front of you where you see it daily and it will stimulate you into action.

God had a vision of how he wanted to create the world and he executed it in six days. Now it is critical that you do not deviate from your vision if it is taking a while to manifest itself. God will bring it to pass at the appointed time. “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” – Habakkuk 2:3. Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others. – Jonathan Swift

An artist is not paid for his labor but for his vision. – James Whistler

Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world. – Joel A. Barker

Christian Books – Belief – Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God – Belief

Belief – a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing, something that is accepted, considered to be true, or held as an opinion: something believed. http://www.merriam-webster.com

For young children at Christmas time, their belief is in Santa Claus. They look forward to going to see Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. On Christmas Eve they prepare a delicious plate of cookies for Santa with milk and carrots for his reindeer. Children’s belief system in things they do not see is much stronger than adults’. As adults, we have gone through the rigors of life and so if something is not feasible to our thought process or not man-made that we can clearly see our belief is almost nil.

Roller Coasters have become one of the mandatory rides for thrill-seekers whenever they visit amusement parks. They have become an engineering marvel, and have been constructed to be taller, faster, and wilder than ever. Why is it though we climb into the roller coaster giddy, sweaty, pumped with adrenaline and belief that the ride will be awesome! We never have a wavering belief that our feet will never land safely on solid ground within 3 1/2 to 4 minutes after the inception of the ride. So, if we are so confident and stable and grounded in our belief in a man-made steel object why is our belief so flimsy in our creator? In the famed movie “The Wizard of Oz”, the good witch Glinda told Dorothy that she needed to believe. In the bible in the book of Matthew, it says, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” If you can only have belief in what can be seen and not in the things that are unseen, you will never thrive in life. Mary Jesus earthly mother believed that he could do miracles and that is why she told the disciples to do whatever he instructed them to do at the party when he turned water into wine.

When you enlarge your belief, you enlarge your life.
