We are rapidly approaching one of the biggest holidays of the year: Memorial Day. We all know the story of Cinderella, a girl, a shoe, and a prince. Cinderella lived an unhappy life as a young girl. Her mother was dead and her father had married a widow with two daughters. Her step-mother didn’t like her one bit and so she made her life miserable. Cinderella was forced to live in poverty while those around her enjoyed the good life especially her step-sisters. The story of Cinderella teaches us to enjoy simple pleasures, about endurance, and about the importance of maintaining an optimistic attitude and holding onto hope. The word HOPE is listed in the bible many times:
