Favor, what does it really mean? When you receive favor you are getting an attitude of approval or liking. It is an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual.
Has any of these situations ever happened to you? Check out my website
a) – You pay a bill but then you forgot about it until you see that it has posted to your bank account before your payroll. Miraculously, you don’t get a bank fee charge for overdraft or insufficient funds. Christian Books – Donna Louis- Favor.
b) – You’re in a hurry and you’re speeding, the police pull you over. You know the drill license and registration. You forgot your license at home. The police officer asks for your name, address, and date of birth. Now you sit and wait for an eternity as if you weren’t in a rush in the beginning. Miraculously, when the officer returns to your car he says your info checks out, you don’t have any warrants or outstanding tickets so I’m going to let you go with a warning. c) – You rush out the house to pick up your child from school but you forgot you left a pot on the stove boiling. You immediately make a U-turn and head back to your home. Miraculously, the pot has boiled out, and the contents of the pot have begun to burn but, no smoke or fire has started. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Favor.

For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield. – Psalm 5:12
Lord, by thy favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. – Psalm 30:7
For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted. – Psalm 89:17
So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. – Proverbs 3:4
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favor: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. – Proverbs 11:27
A good man obtaineth favor of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. – Proverbs 12:2
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor. – Proverbs 14:9
So let’s be mindful when things happen that we know should have turned out in a negative fashion but, instead was positive it’s not a lucky break it is THE FAVOR OF GOD!
