Christian Books – Donna Louis – New Level New Devil

Christian Books – Donna Louis – New Level New Devil

As you are looking to expand your horizons and level up you will encounter many tests and challenges. This is what we call New Level New Devil.

We all have a long laundry list especially if we pray bold prayers to God of the things we want, the things we want to accomplish, and the legacy we want to leave in life. The Bible says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.’ – Matthew 7:7. http://www.miraclebook.net

God is waiting to be gracious and grant you the things you are asking for but they first must line up with the job he placed you on this earth to accomplish and secondly you have to be ready and prepared to step into that position. When God knows you are not ready, not mature enough to handle what you are asking for he will not give it to you. Christian Books – Donna Louis – New Level New Devil

When God had Moses take command and take the children of Israel from Pharaoh and deliver them from slavery and bondage he did not take them on the easy quick course. The travel time into the promise land should have only been an eleven-day trip but because God knew this group of over two million people were not ready, he took them the long route which wound up being a forty-year journey. http://www.miraclebook.net

Another reason why the journey took so long is because of all the complaining the congregation kept doing. Gratitude will bless your life while complaining will destroy it. Instead of being grateful that they were finally free after all the years of bondage all they did was complain. They complained about the same food (manna) everyday, no water to drink, etc. to Moses all the time. God has a sense of humor and when he sends tests your way and you keep failing, he is not going to give you the desires of your heart. You must trust him, become mature and pass the tests and challenges. Christian Books – Donna Louis – New Level New Devil

For those of you that are parents you will understand this example. You purchase a new car, and your child is in love with it. The color, the new car smell, the wheels, the interior, etc. They ask you if they can drive the car. Knowing all the pit falls and negative things that could happen since they are only eleven years old you say no. This is the same process with God. He knows everything and he will not let you elevate to the next level if you are not ready for it because of the challenges (devils) you will encounter.

New devils come in all shapes and sizes. One example could be that you become a manager for a group of 50 people, and you feel very prideful because you got the promotion over other people, so you start throwing your weight around. No. this is the incorrect behavior so since God knows what you will do before even you do; he will not elevate you to the next level. You could be praying to become a highly successful author which in turn will have you doing many speaking engagements and book signings, but you have an issue with handling criticism badly. Not everyone will think you’re great and so you will come across critics, and you must be mature enough to handle that. You can’t go tit for tat with every person who doesn’t like you. Be patient to be on God’s potters’ wheel until he has molded you into the masterpiece, he created you to be. Remember every new level has a new devil but you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.

Christian Books – Donna Louis – Anxiety & Depression

“I found that with depression, one of the most important things you can realize is that you’re not alone. You’re not the first to go through it, you’re not gonna be the last to go through it,” — Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.” ― John Green

“I keep moving ahead, as always, knowing deep down inside that I am a good person and that I am worthy of a good life.” ― Jonathan Harnisch

“If you have been brutally broken but still have the courage to be gentle to other living beings, then you’re a badass with a heart of an angel.” — Keanu Reeves

Mental Health is a real issue that we all need to take seriously. If you know someone who may be suffering, then reach out to them and show them love. No man is an island and we all at some point in our lives must lean on someone else. If you see a person that is suffering don’t just shake your head and turn the other way. Don’t think that they are just a weakling so whatever happens to them they deserve. You might live to regret those unsavory thoughts.  If Jesus had done that when he was here walking the earth where would we all be now? Check out my website

If you are a person dealing with mental health issues, please reach out and get help. Don’t think that you are the only one dealing with these issues. People in the Bible dealt with mental health issues as well. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Anxiety & Depression

Kind David battled depression, despair, fear, guilt, loneliness, anguish and much more. He detailed all of this in the Book of Psalms. ““My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear.” – Psalm 38:4. “Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” – Psalm 42:11. He also spoke about his grief regarding the loss of his son in the book of 2 Samuel Chapter 12. David sinned a great sin against God by sleeping with a married woman named Bathsheba and killed her husband Uriah and then married her and she conceived. God struck and killed his son even though David prayed for forgiveness and fasted. Check out my website

Elijah the prophet who had a multitude of spiritual victories was fearful, tired, and distraught and ran away and said, “I have had enough Lord, he said. Take my life, I am not better than my ancestors.” 1 Kings 19:4. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Anxiety & Depression

Jonah who ran from God when he asked him to go to Nineveh to preach to the people was ultimately swallowed by a whale. After three days God had the whale spit Jonah out and he headed to Nineveh. He had great success there with the people, but he was angry instead and said, “Now O Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.” Jonah 4:3. And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.” – Jonah 4:9.

Job was a righteous man and loved God, but he lost almost everything enduring great devastation and physical illness. “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.” – Job 2:9. He then said, “Why did I not perish at birth, and die as I came from the womb?” Job 3:11.” Job also said, “I have no peace, no quietness, I have no rest, but only turmoil.” Job 3:26. Job continued to also say, “I loathe my very life; therefore, I will give free rein to my complaint and speak out in the bitterness of my soul.” Job 10:1. Jesus was deeply depressed and distraught knowing the things that he had to deal with including the cross. Jesus prayed to God saying, and saith unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless, not what I will, but what thou wilt. – Mark 14:34-36.

If you see something say something. If you are the person suffering you speak up and say something. No matter how it may appear there is still more good in this world than bad and there are people waiting to extend their arms and help you to overcome. Remember God says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”.

“A ship is always safe at the shore-but that is not what it is built for.” -Albert Einstein

If you want to do great things in life you need to get away from the normal and step into the abnormal. Even if you are feeling fearful do it anyway. FEAR is just “false evidence appearing real” and this is what stops most people from becoming great. Check out my website

God asked Abraham to leave his country that he had become so familiar with and go somewhere new. Abraham was 75 years old when God told him to do this. “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land. And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord. – Genesis 12:1-8. God will not allow you to coast in life. You must have challenges to be able to step into your destiny. God is faithful to bless you if you will leave fear behind or do it afraid and follow what God asks you to do. God is always ordering your steps and he has a great future in store for you. So step out of your comfort zone and you will see that God means what he says,” Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” – Ephesians 3:20. Christian Books – Donna Louis – Where Does Your Dependence Lie

Christian Books – Donna Louis – Where Does Your Dependence Lie

Dependence – the quality or state of being dependent; one that is relied on. – https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dependance

We all have people that we depend on from time to time according to the nature of our lives. Parents who have children that ride the school bus depend on the driver to carry their children safely to and from school. Employees depend on their employers to operate their company with integrity so that the firm will continue to grow so that the employees will continue to receive a paycheck. Children especially newborns depend on their parents to nurture and care for them until they grow up and can take care of themselves. Spouses depend on each other to be true to their marriage and don’t step outside of the marriage vows and commit adultery. Check out my website

We all need to be dependent on God almighty daily. God gently shakes us up every morning and gets us started on our day. God provides us with a heart. The task of your heart is to pump enough blood to deliver a continuous supply of oxygen and other nutrients to the brain and the other vital organs.  God provides us with use of our five senses daily. He also provides us with a brain. The brain is a complex organ that controls thought, memory, emotion, touch, motor skills, vision, breathing, temperature, hunger and every process that regulates our body. Together, the brain and spinal cord that extends from it make up the central nervous system, or CNS. – https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/anatomy-of-the-brain#

One of the mightiest men in the Bible was Moses. He knew where his dependence always lied and utilized it. God called Moses to lead the people out of Egypt, but Moses told God that he couldn’t speak well and was not eloquent. “And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. And the Lord said unto him, who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. And thou shalt speak unto him and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God – Exodus 4:10-16. Moses also had to depend on God to provide food (manna) for the two million people as well as provide water in the desert, and above all safe passage across the red sea towards the promise land. Moses was able to do all these things because he was a humble man who depended on God.

Daily we all have our itineraries and agendas for all aspects of our lives but if you want to be successful you need to acknowledge where your dependence lies and your mainline for dependence is God.
